What we observed

One of the most common patterns was simple. A customer finishes their meal, the staff asks them to leave a Google review, they say they will — and then they walk out and forget.

It is not a major issue on its own, but it happens dozens of times a week. Over time, it slows down growth, reduces visibility, and makes it harder for good businesses to stand out.

What we built

We started by focusing on that gap. Using NFC-powered smart cards and table stands, we made actions like leaving a review instant. Instead of asking and hoping, customers could tap and complete it on the spot.

That simple shift removed friction, and businesses began to see a steady increase in reviews and engagement.

As we worked with more businesses, we saw the same pattern in other areas — missed calls, delayed responses, and customers dropping off because it was too difficult to take the next step.

That led to the next stage.

We expanded beyond NFC into custom landing pages that make it easy for customers to find information quickly. From there, we introduced AI-powered systems that handle calls, WhatsApp messages, and inquiries so businesses can respond instantly and consistently.

Today, Catalyx focuses on building connected systems that help businesses capture demand, respond faster, and convert more interactions into customers.
